The location is very handy for me for work. I really enjoy the lit walks around Wendelsberg - no excuse for lazing about when working away from home. A short walk to the town centre for eating out and shopping for essentials. I expect its even nicer in the summer. The kitchen area on each floor makes for a very homely stay

Very beautiful grounds and view and elegant environment. It’s a pleasure to enjoy a meal in the grand dining room, overlooking the garden and lake. There’s are very comfortable and cozy big sitting areas, pool Billard and games in the main area of the buildings. Breakfast buffet was good and plenty of choice. There’s SUP and kayaks to use and a bathing place .

I had the pleasure of staying at a truly comfortable, clean, and cozy apartment. It provided a delightful retreat with a beautiful lake and a lovely beach just across the road. The convenient location near Gothenburg, easily accessible via the motorway, made it even more appealing. The host's kindness and hospitality added to the overall experience. booked a stay on 28th of July for dates in mid-October. It appeared to be a right choice. the Vandrarhem is conveniently accessible as well as visible from the nearest Gothenburg tram lines, swift no-nonsense check-in process although I did not like it they copied my passport, easy to find and at a safe neighbourhood. I liked it for what they promised on the tin. Did not check out the breakfast as they could not tell me if the selection was primarily carbs or protein. Unfortunately I found the second biggest city of Sweden a bit lacking in the 'I might return' department, which means I also won't be back to Kivbergs. I recommend this vandrarhem tho.
