The location is really quiet and in the middle of nature. Rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable, with care of details. The brakfast and dinner are excellent and really fresh! The staff is wonderful, Nina and her family have a good vibes and warm heart, we always feel at home! Also, healing practice was an intimate and well handed moment.

Very great people are working in this place. Helped with all questions, were kind during the stay and special thanks to wonderful woman who prepared the breakfast and provided some special bonus :) Good parking place near the entrance, place is near the highway, so easy to get to any place.

The host was nice and helpful. She took the time to chat with us and show us the apartment. She also recommended us trails for hiking and places to go in the surroundings. The apartment was spacious and nicely arranged. Even being close to the bar, there wasn't any noise disturbance. Hvala lepa!

We had an amazing stay! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The spa was peaceful and luxurious, perfect for unwinding. We had a frog concert in the evening. It was amazing. You can hear the frogs from the bedroom, so soothing and amazing. Besides that, we like everything! Great hospitality, the cleanliness, new house just renovated, and lots of welcome food to feel even more welcome. Absolute silence and chilled vibe of the surroundings, it's a small little village with not much going on.. Barely a car going around in the evening (we stayed on a Sunday night). Overall, amazing one night experience in a remote village in Slovenia!

The area is absolutely stunningly beatiful!

The area is absolutely stunningly beatiful! (even more beatiful than the Vipava valley maybe in my opinion) Very rural area. Possible to do nice hikes, but the tourism infrastructure is more targeted at cyclists. No marked hiking routes, or trail descriptions. The potential for hiking is there though, but you need to do your own research. It is possible to hike from Branik over the ridge through the hilltop hamlet of Sveti Martin, down to the Vipava valley. Beautiful views of the Vipav valley from Sveti Martin. Then have lunch in Gostilna sivi Čaven Jasmina Čermelj in the village of Potoce, then back to Branik over the Preserje village. And I think, that it would also be possible to hike to the top of the mountain ridge south of Branik, to get a view of the Branica valley. Cycling, you get more mileage, if you don´t mind the hilly roads. There is a bus to the karst hilltop village of Stanjel. It is a walkable distance, but the road isn´t very nice. There are a fair amount of rural B&Bs, at farms and vineyards throughout the area, that are more difficult to get to by public transport. There is an excellent restaurant and pizzeria at Osterija Branik.
