Everything was great! The hotel and room were perfectly clean, beds very comfortable, and breakfast tasty and varied. Free parking is a big plus. Located in a developing business area (near a construction site, but rooms are perfectly soundproof – no noise at all), with shops and malls nearby, and just a 10-minute walk to the center. Friendly staff and bike rental available. Lovely courtyard with sun loungers, jacuzzi and ice tub – all free to use. Sauna available for €10/hour. Highly recommended!

Everything. I will post a Google review with more details. This is place has is high-style, playful, comfortable, delightful, pristine, and exceptionally functional too. I have never seen such exquisite craftsmanship in a restoration like this before. Every sparkling clean minute detail has been done to perfection. The hosts are a lovely young couple. Her career is in the arts and he renovated the entire place alone. Your hosts are kind, friendly, down to earth, helpful, creatively inspired, hard working, and all around lovely people who deserve every success.

The breakfast was awesome. At the reception we received a bottle of vine, a busket with fruit , while the jacuzzi was waiting for us. Sandra was the best hostess we met during our travel. At the checkout we received a bottle with sweet liquor. We do recommend the property. Nice view.

    A lovely small town at the sea where everything is reachable...

    A lovely small town at the sea where everything is reachable by foot so you can enjoy endless walks. Extremely beautiful sunsets at the marina area, lovely Venetian architecture, tasty cuisine. Very underestimated because of Piran's popularity but very cozy and comfortable for a leisure vacation. Lovely green beach Slovene Riviera and nearby Zusterna. I would recommend Koper to everyone as a base for their Slovenian seaside sightseeing as Izola and Piran are just 20-40 minutes drive away.

    As a small historic town on what was an island once despite having a massive deep water port it is a very pleasant place but you can see it in a day unless you are staying for something more specific as a base (for the excellent wineries and countryside in my case).

    Koper is a lovely town by the sea.

    Koper is a lovely town by the sea. Although Koper has a huge port, tourists offer is also rich. Beautiful old town with famous buildings, University center, everything that you could possible need in many shops, restaurants, shopping malls. Kind people and beautiful, very well taken care of, nature, and close to other Slovenian nature parks. Road network is excellent and you can easily get anywhere you want.

    As for the town of Koper, the old town is charming, you can see lots of investments in the town - there is a range of new sports facilities, modern but nicely matched with the old architecture. A nice place for a city break.

    I liked the old town of Koper- interesting and some nice little places to eat. I wouldn't swim there though- very industrial and the sea appears quite polluted. If you are interested in snorkelling or swimming I would head down the coast further to the islands off Croatia. For more history, the bays in Italy like San Rocco outside of Trieste. I didn't like Piran at all- a pretty town but just a tourist disneyland

    Koper is nice historical seaside city.

    Koper is nice historical seaside city. There si also possibility to travel within 20km to other also nice historical cities Isola, Piran and Portoroz. There are nice beaches especially in Portoroz and Piran which I could recommend. Also there are Realy nice caves close to the Koper which you can visit Skocjan or Postojna jama.

    Our host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable. The exit to the main road towards Koper or in the opposite direction towards Slovenian Istria is easy. The location is great for exploring the coast or the inland. Marezige, which has a fantastic view with a glass of wine, is a few minutes away by car, also offers a great opportunity for cycling. All in all, we recommend.
