    Nice, serene small town located in a nature park, with several walking trails and interesting sights. Not too many beaches, but there are a couple of acceptably good ones. No nightlife; limited dining and shopping options. Excellent for quiet relaxation.

    Strunjan is a quiet small resort with a few places to eat and drink. It can get very busy in the summer. There are good walks nearby. For those who want a lot of facilities, bars etc it is not a good choice. Out of season is great for those who want peace and relative quiet.

    The nice saltpans with a small museum in the middle, both sides of the bay, have hotels for budget guests or one that required a little higher standards. There are many marked paths to hike around or just plain walk. Strunjan bay is not a village but it lies between Izola and Piran. At the beginning of the bay, there is a bus station and mini market and at the end, there are many restaurants and a beach with some trees and grass to give shadow and a place to rest. In nice weather, you will really enjoy it.

    Strunjan is one of my favorit sea shore in any season.

    Strunjan is one of my favorit sea shore in any season. Picturesque, green and reach meditteranian vegetation, fish and mushels, local vines and olive oil. Town of Piran and Izola are just a walk far. Plenty of local Inn with good food.

    Very beautiful apartments, which are located 5 minutes from the beach, the room has everything you need, clean, cozy, spacious, with a beautiful terrace with a wonderful view of the sea, there is a barbecue. The hostess, Elena, received us very friendly and hospitably, they provided us with additional children's bed, it is possible to visit the swimming pool on the territory of the Salinera hotel. If you are looking for peace and enjoyment of nature, then the apartments "Villa Yadranka" are for you.🙂

    Strunjan is close to Piran, Portoroz and Isola- long walks but we like it. Nice outdoor pool next to a stoney beach. A lot of green space beneath the trees. The apartment was clean, equipped with all necessary kitchen things (fridge, microwave oven, dishes, pots etc.) Towels were changed every 2 days. Very efficient air condition, sharp knifes :) In summary: despite some minuses we enjoyed our stay in Salinera hotel.

    Wonderful hotel in a great location. Views across the nature reserve and the sea. Great base to explore Pirin and the area away from the crowds. Very well designed room for a small room. Great breakfast and restaurants nearby.
