Nova Lesna is The Perfect Place to stay when you want to visit the High Tatras. It is close, it has great value for money and has some really beautiful places to stay at with spectacular view. I have been here twice so far but definitely will come back every time we want to go hiking in these beautiful mountains. It is a small village about 10 min by train from Poprad or...
It is a small village about 10 min by train from Poprad or Stary Smokovec where the mountains start. There are trains at least once an hour in each direction. Clean, very quiet and with a beautiful view of High Tatras. As it is a little village it is hard to find many shops and restaurants there. The nearest supermarkets are Billa and Kaufland near the Poprad station. There is a nice local vine shop in the village and a slovak cuisine krčma (tavern).Guest review byAndrewUkraine
