Tatranska Strba is a great base for exploring Tatra...
Tatranska Strba is a great base for exploring Tatra mountains. It's a 15 minute drive to the Strbske pleso, and equally distanced from Poprad (the closest large city) and Liptovska Mara (big lake for swimming). Nearest big store is in the Svit (Lidl, Billa), and there are some local stores in Tatranska Strba, Strba and Strbske pleso with some basic necessities. There are amazing hikes in Tatras, starting in the valleys and looping across the high mountain ridges. There are many peaks to mount but it takes strenght and endurance, many creeks and lakes to discover. Some peaks can be reached by a chair lift. Great area for the cycling and mountain biking, long rides though.Guest review byAjkosCroatia

Our room was perfect, with a delightful view of the hills, and everything was spotless and new, including the bathroom. The shared kitchen was also excellent, fully equipped with everything we needed. We absolutely fell in love with Štrba and this place.
