If you want to hang around with far to many unwanted, Khao Lak is the place to go. It certainly focusing on tourists with bad taste from a special part of the world. We have been to khao Lak 7 times now because we love it...
We have been to khao Lak 7 times now because we love it so much. We have eaten in many different places , but the Orchid is our favourite restaurant. All of the eateries were very reasonably priced. Khao Lak is a very walkable resort and safer now there are two pedestrian crossings. We are older and some pavements have quite high steps down and up, but there are usually little ramps for less abled or children's buggies. There are plenty of mini marts to buy supplies and several pharmacies to get advice or medications if needed. Also plenty of little craft / souvenir shops. There are plenty of bank machines and several money exchange kiosks. Khao Lak is basically one very long main street with shops etc on both sides of the street. Lovely quite town, away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket. No traffic. Beautiful beaches. a large selection of restaurants. Plenty of local taxis to take you around. Very friendly local community. A totally different more chilled vibe than Phuket.Guest review byIan

Typical holiday resort with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious with a a balcony facing the pool or the garden. I stayed in a room facing the garden and didn’t mind at all because it was very quiet and peaceful. The pool can be very crowded. The breakfast it’s amazing with a variety of choices.
