I had a great experience at this hotel! The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! The staff was really nice snd helpful, helping me to organise transportation and they had really good laundry service. The pool is lovely especially since the beaches are not so great for swimming and there are many cheeky monkeys so I spend a lot of time at the pool and loved it. Great value for money, would always come again 😊

I liked everything. With booking the eco bungalow I was aware it was very basic but still, it had all I needed: a comfy bed with mosquito net, a private bathroom, good internet, a small porch and private scooter parking. Every two days my bungalow would be cleaned, including the bedding and bottles of drinking water we’re provided. The room has a fan and a kettle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also very clean and inviting and had a big variety of dishes with even vegan options.

-Absolutely everything !! - the wifi is perfect ! I need very good wifi for video calls and haven't had any problem once -I stayed in several 4-5* accomodations around asia but the service couldn't be compared to this place :) -The owners (very sweet couple) are the nicest people and will do literally anything to make your stay the best possible -amazing view from room, amazing location close to everything, the beach is really nice -they provide it all - transport, tours, motorbike rental, laundry washing, coffee, water in glass bottles - daily refill, beach towels....

Very friendly hotel. Beautiful accommodation in lovely well maintained gardens. The manager was welcoming and helpful, pointing us in the direction of local trips and good quality restaurants. The hotel is good value for money as the accommodation is spacious, well maintained, and designed for comfort. Thank you to Nine and the rest of his team for an unforgettable stay close to the most beautiful beach. We recommend travel to Koh Lanta in low season if you like a more temperate climate and plenty of space to enjoy the serenity of Koh Lantas natural beauty.

I absolutely loved my stay at DOX Lanta Hostel. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible family who runs it. Sven and Sunny are the heart and soul of the hostel, and they could not have been kinder, more welcoming, or more attentive. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They were always ready to help with anything, from tips about the island to arranging scooter rentals at great prices – and their warm energy created such a relaxed, friendly vibe. On my last day, we even shared a meal together, they just love sharing! They’re simply lovely people, and their genuine hospitality made all the difference. The hostel itself is cozy, clean, and in a great location, close to all the main spots, but still peaceful enough for a good night’s sleep. Whether you’re solo traveling or with friends, DOX Lanta is the perfect place to stay. I can’t recommend it enough, I left with wonderful memories and the biggest smile on my face!

Very nice bungalows, well located in Koh Lanta. The staff is amazing, always helping you when you need : very customer centric. We appreciated everything, the food is also great and the breakfast is tasty and pretty big. I will definitely come back when I go to Lanta again ☺️.

    Visited in low season weather wasn’t great but that is to be expected. Beaches not good for swimming and littered with rubbish. The vast majority of restaurants and resorts were closed. This island has a very different vibe in the busy season.

    During off season (July) the Island is reasonably quiet, many places are actually closed. Still, we had a great time. We had picked the right accommodation and were lucky with the weather, Still, it was often very windy with one powerful storm, which made the beaches useless: high bumper waves with rocks under the surf. Luckily, we had a great pool at our place. Things to do: Great local food everywhere and very affordable. Mangrove and island cave kayaking Elephant sanctuary (go for the 2hrs option if you can afford it) Old Town (great few form the pier and lots of tourist shops) National Park (jungle walk, lighthouse, beach) Many beaches to explore Scooter hires everywhere

    Koh Lanta is a nice island, I went at the end of the season so not too many people. I think in peak season it might be uncomfortable with the number of tourists. The beaches on the west coast were amazing, we didn't go to any on the east coast, not enough time. Lots of restaurants and night markets. Great to walk along the beach and try different restaurants to eat lunch or dinner. The ethical elephant sanctuary on the south of Koh Lanta was an eye opening experience and changed my views. Lots of walks and waterfalls to see.

    Koh Lanta is such an amazing island!

    Koh Lanta is such an amazing island! You definitely need to visit it if you want a relaxing holiday, without much partying and nightlife. The scenery is amazing, the island is very tropical and covered in green. Renting a motorbike and riding through the island is a must. You need at least 5 days to see the island, make a day trip to surrounding islands and relax. The beaches are great for watching the sunset and chilling, but the water isn't the best. It is very warm and not very clear when we visited at the end of April.

    It's a beautiful quiet island.

    It's a beautiful quiet island. It's far more peaceful than the other party like islands. You'll find mostly locals, digital nomads and families/honeymooners. So if you wish for a more eventful stay, this is probably not for you, but if you yearn for peace and tranquility, then Koh Lanta is a safe bet. The beaches are smaller and not that typical green/blue hue you'd find in other places, but further south you'll find nice beaches where you can chill and get a massage for 10€. You can do tours to visit some islands that are close by (40 minutes by boat) and those will have beautiful green/blue water with white sandy beaches. I highly recommend it

    Beautiful long be beach.

    Beautiful long be beach. Plentiful bars and restaurants to choose from and very reasonably priced. Take advantage of “Happy Hour” We visited the Lanta animal welfare. Cost very little and an hour tour and seeing and hearing the wonderful work they do. We also did Koh Phi Phi/Bamboo Beach etc.. 2 snorkel spots along the way. Our daughter did a more advanced snorkelling day.

    the Hotel is very well designed, even though the property is small, all bungalows have privacy, The rooms are spacious, well designed, with a nice bathroom, a great terrasse. The location is good directly at the long private beach only shared with another 5 Star Hotel. Breakfast is extraordinary good, the staff are extremely well educated, helpfull and friendly. The swiss owner greet every customer personally and have done a great job running this place. We ha a great time there.

    Excellent restaurant at premises, popular with other tourists. Super friendly and helpful staff. Owner was very helpful with arranging onward travel and local advice. For the price this is very good accommodation right on Khlong Klong beach. Perfect location to stay in Ko Lanta, plenty of other bars and restaurants on the beachfront. Shops cashpoint etc just behind on road. Highly recommend budget accommodation

    Gorgeous villa with every luxury you would need. We were shown around the villa and had everything explained to us which was great! The villa staff would cater to every request from taxi rides to the local shop and organising food to be delivered to the villa. We really never had to leave!!! Ko Lanta beach is lovely with great beach bars and food - Villa and Town both a hidden a gem of Thailand!!!

    The hotel is well maintained, beautiful beach and garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The prices was quite reasonable given the quality of the service. We visited maybe 30 to 40 5 star hotels over the years and Pimalai is the best hotel that we experienced. It was our 3rd visit.

    Absolutely beautiful accommodation, room very spacious and clean. Short walk to the stunning Long Beach with bar and restaurants. Hotel did have a small cafe which was open all day. We only had breakfast there once and it was very good. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
