We (a family with 2 kids at the age of 6 months / 4 years) had a wonderful stay at The Residence Douz. Amazing rooms, attentive and super child friendly staff. Breakfast was great and we felt very welcome in a positive environment, right next to the Sahara desert. The spa area is great. My best hotel experience in Tunisia so far, we even extended our stay. Everything Great! The apartment is big, spacious, brand new, super equipped. Extremely clean. A great place. The owner is a woman with a huge heart, and with great patience. She does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I add one last thing; I am usually a model guest, but this time I was unbearable: she was always friendly and understanding. Absolutely recommended.

Everything was perfect. The host, Hasan, is such a lovely person. We had a privilege to meet his family. Every night he would start a fire in front of accomodation. Everything was super clean. Host helped us by cooking two dinners and helped us to find contacts in Douz. Thank you Hasan, and thank to your family :)

They whole camp was welcoming. They treated us like family. The home made break baked in sand was the best bread I had in my life. The surrounding desert is magical. Everyone should sleep at least once in their life under those stars. The view was astonishing as if I saw the sky for the first time. We hope to return soon.

The owners of the structure are kind and helpful. In addition to the stay, I recommend the experiences they propose. The typical dinner is an incredible experience and the walk in the desert with the camels guided by Abdallah was magical. The structure is suggestive and well cared for. It was a real pleasure.
