I stayed in Jiaoxi for 2 nights only so that I could do the trip to Turtle Island but my impression is that the place merits a longer stay as I didn't have time to visit the hot springs, Our Lady of Wufengqi Sanctuary, or to undertake any of the local walks. I ate at HoYa restaurant where the staff and other customers were very helpful in finding out what I wanted to order. The free hot springs in the Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park and Tangweigou Park are enjoyable. Easy to reach them, right besides with many vendors and convenient stores where can buy some drinks, snacks. When I booked the hotel because has Japan style onsen in and room and public. The room too small for superior double room but it was single room. Hotel include buffer breakfast and gym at 9 floor. Gym hour from 0900 - 2100. The public onsen from 0700-1100 then from 1500-2300. I requested gym hour open two hour early from 0700-2100. Because the original hour gym is not ideal time for guest to use it. The price for hotel too expensive because the Japan style almost same in Japan but not quite yet but charge same price as it was in Japan. Jiaoxi is onsen town and I believe there should be other hotel cheaper and offer the same serviceGuest review byWaiJapan
