Plenty to do in Penghu and round Magong if you have a scooter. Otherwise there is little public transportation. Fireworks from April to June a highlight. My mother forgot to bring her jacket when we went to see the fireworks. The owner just lent her jacket to my mother. She also gave us good advice on where to go and eat. Such a nice host!
