Tela is a great host and shows you the place, the beach and where to eat good food which isn't to expensive. It's my first time in Africa, and I feel home and safe here. The strong wind keeps the place fresh with good air from the ocean. I got a balcony, neighbours are chill and its easy to connect. I feel home. Hakuma Matata, thank you Tells for being a great host. It's a quiet place. The house is located in a guarded area. The beach is a 5 minutes walk away. The pool was very nice. Wifi was slightly better than other places I have visited in Zanzibar. Every day you get a huge breakfast made for you in the villa. There is AC in every room so you can set the temperature to what you like. It felt really luxurious and we didn't feel anything was missing during our stay. Outside the area you need transport to get to stores, activities, so make sure you have contact information to drivers. There is plenty of ATMs within 5 minute drive and I had no issues withdrawing Tanzanian shillings from them.

The apartment was lovely and clean and perfectly situated on the beach. There were plenty of choices for food around the area and the staff were so helpful if you wanted to go anywhere a bit further. As it was Ramadan, I used the hotel next door to use the private beach and have lunch and coffee during the day. Freddie, the chef, cooked a beautiful breakfast daily with pancakes, a full fry up and fresh fruit and he was very friendly. He also offered lunch and dinner. Suleiman took me to the cash point and shop when I needed which wasn't far and I could have walked but it was quite hot so it made it easier to drive. The locals and Messai's were very helpful and would walk with me when I couldn't find restaurants I was trying to get to. I felt very safe with the Messai security and people around the accommodation. The restaurant next door served amazing fresh lobster for such a reasonable price and the local beach had beautiful wildlife like starfish and sea urchins.

How to describe this beautiful place. We spent 1 dream week there. Everything in this hotel is designed to make you feel good and enjoy an idyllic setting. The staff is very attentive, welcoming, friendly and very attentive. As soon as you arrive and receive the welcome foot massage, you are plunged into this atmosphere of calm and serenity. To be able to experience spending your entire stay barefoot in the sand is an experience I had never experienced. It feels so good to give up shoes and to refocus on yourself. The rooms are clean, well appointed and add to the feeling of well-being. Even though we were surrounded by nature, we were never bothered by mosquitoes or other insects. The restaurant offers a varied menu for each meal offering various foods (vegetarian, fish, meat, poultry, shellfish). There is a starter, main course and dessert system. Everyone can figure it out. The fact that there are only 20 rooms means that the time of the meal is a calm and intimate moment. The à la carte service (for lunch, lunch and dinner) is of a high quality and professionally offered. The hotel's beach is just a beautiful picture postcard ride away with its white sand and sky blue sea. The beach furniture available is just top quality so you can relax and take your best photos. There are 2 deckchairs, a covered beach bed, but also the possibility that the staff will set up a space on the beach. As far as the swimming pool is concerned, it is very beautiful and there is always room, without going to war as is often the case elsewhere. All this to say, I couldn’t have chosen a better framework for my marriage proposal

This small hotel is like a little getaway paradise. The design is very stylish but local and cosy. The service is exceptional! Would definitely stay here again. The beach is a 2-3 min walk and very close to an amazing reef where you can explore many sea creatures. It is also close to awesome fish restaurants and Mnemba island for snorkling.
