You need to take into consideration the feelings of your...
You need to take into consideration the feelings of your visitors....we do not like being targeted by people pestering us to buy from them every time we go to the beach. It really is a negative factor of visiting your wonderful island paradise....it spoiled it for us. Pongwe is an isolated beach, at low tide the sea is very far away and, even at high tide, it is very shallow - you cannot swim. Kiwengwa beach, next door (10 minutes by car) is much better, more lively, with many shops and good hotels.Guest review byANTONIO EUCLIDESBrazil

Our room was just a step from the white sands of the gorgeous beach. We stayed on a half board basis and the abundant buffet was absolutely delicious. We joined in some of the activities such as aquagym (great fun!) and village visit (fascinating!). Special mention to the superb staff, especially Mwana (entertainment), Ester (front desk) and Alex (rooftop bar), all of whom went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.
