Fantastic welcome with cold towel and fresh juice. Quick check in. Excellent quality of food. Coffee was great. My tent with 2 beds and charging socket was lovely. The restaurant employee, Patience, and others took good care of me. The highlight was definitely John the elephant, who was there when I checked in and the next day during breakfast.

As a tour operator, I booked this place for my clients. The place was super nice and the communication was very effective. We reached a little late and found Eunice and other two staff waiting for us. This was super amazing. We spent three nights at the property. Every night Hippos came in the compound to feed on every night. Hippos come with their young ones. I saw a whole family of hippos. 😜Mama, Papa and baby hippo. They come twice a nice at night Between 20:00hrs - 21:30 and then come back between 2:30 - 4:00 The place is very close to Kazinga channel boats and few km to Kasenyi gate in Queen Elizabeth national park. Since am a Birder, I could always start my birding while in the compound. I took enough Pictures of birds. The birds you are likely to see are;; Red necked spurfowl, laughing dove, mourning dove, snowy crowned Robin chat, white browed robin chat, black lores babblers, pied crow, marabou stork, village weavers, black headed Gonolek, Dideric cuckoo, ....... Then as you join the main road, there's a bush where you can see variety of birds.

What is there not to like? Lovely tented camp with everything you need for an authentic African safari. Lovely team, awesome vibe. Great food. I love this place! How about a small pool like other Nature Lodges have? It’s hot! ( eg Fort Murchison :)

This is a wonderful project by and for the community of Kikorongo, and it is an inspiring experience to see how its tireless staff face every challenge without losing their smiles: No water or electricity mains and yet they have a beautiful garden and comfy rooms and tents; limited ingredients but tasty dishes every day... I have sung with them, danced with them, walked with them, and thoroughly enjoyed the company and the lessons of one of kindest people I have met in my many travels. Alfred was super friendly and helped out when necessary. The room was beautiful and the terrace was very cozy, definitely a little paradise where we could relax. Food was also great and it's not too far from the entrance of the Queen Elisabeth Park. We will definitely visit again, thanks for everything!
