    Love Bar Harbor, great restaurants, galleries, love walking the shore path and out to Bar Island at low tide. Love the free Island Explorer buses into the National Park and all over Mt Desert Island. Love sea kayaking around the harbor islands. Love biking on the carriage trails in Acadia . Beautiful views of the rocky coastline and the moonrise over the Atlantic. Great and easy access into Acadia National Park.

    Bar Harbor is a comfortable tourist town, plenty of shopping and dining options. It has a friendly, welcoming feel. It feels safe day or night. We enjoyed some excellent meals here! Cherrystones has a fabulous lobster BLT. Testa's has lobster tacos that were phenomenal. Galyn's Maine Combination features lobster, scallops, a delicious crab cake, broccoli, rice pilaf and a garlic aioli dipping sauce to die for. Stay away from the Indian pudding for dessert, though, it's a runny, warm, odd-tasting brown stew. Plenty of better dessert options on their menu. Don't miss the Pink Pastry Shop! They make a terrific iced latte, the Maine Mud Square is a chocolate lover's delight and the cupcakes are wonderful. Really friendly folks, too!

    A charming town with a lot of eateries, cafes and shops. It had a perfect waterfront view as well. Our favourites were the Choco-Latte Cafe where they have an amazing Maine Maple Oat coffee and yummy food and Frenchman Bay Lobster Rolls, for one of the best lobster rolls. Side Street Cafe had the best blueberry pie we ever had! Must visits!

    Cute downtown & beautiful scenery in Bar Harbor. Acadia National Park is a gem! Priceless views throughout the park, especially Cadillac Mountain. Well organized and clean. Jordan Pond also gorgeous. Driving the park loop is enjoyable

    I love the Bar Harbor area.

    I love the Bar Harbor area. We go at least every other year and may try to make it a yearly visit. Love the Jordan House, Cadillac Mt, Thunder Hole, Sand Beach and all the other places there are to see. Beautiful senary.

    Loved renting E-bikes and riding the carriage trails.

    Loved renting E-bikes and riding the carriage trails. Spent 1/2 day fro 10-2 then a late lunch. Went up Cadillac Mountain for sunset...was beautiful. Would've like to stay longer and would have done sone hiking and driving around the loop road.

    Hotel was supercute,room sufficiently spacious, staff helpful and nice. Every day they baked fresh cookies or other cakes for guests. Great location close to Bar Harbor center and also one of the main entrance of the Acadia National Park. During our stay they even organized drinks and bites because it was the day of the Kentucky Derby. Kids enjoyed the pool!

    The best place to stay in Bar Harbor. We had a problem with our car, and the host helped us so much with everything, and she was very nice and caring. The room was big and clean, and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and healthy, and the parking was comfortable. We recommend it!

    We just stayed one night and left whilst dark for sunrise at Cadillac Mt. in Acadia NP. The room was a little small but the most innovative use of space I have ever seen in a Motel! The lovely town of Bar Harbor about 7-8 miles away.

    Breakfast was great Location was perfect, two steps into bar Harbor! So walkable. So close to Acadia NP. We stayed at 8 places on our road trip and this was the best.
