It was a spur of the moment take off and stay somewhere for a night for my wife’s birthday. The owners were very nice and left a birthday card and a bottle of wine. The cabin was clean and cozy. Not one thing bad I could say. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay. Thanks so much Nantahala Cabins!

Beautiful View!! Mrs. Melissa was amazing. She helped us with everything we asked about. We had great conversation with her and the other lady that helps her with the resort. We left early Saturday to hit Pigeon Forge and she had us a Togo breakfast waiting on us. We could not have asked for a better stay 10/10 recommend Long View.

Absolutely beautiful!! Perfect location, close to both downtown and to the riverfront restaurant and Natanhala Outfitters store, but still felt remote like a mountain escape! The cabin is beautifully laid out and SO comfortable. There were only 2 of us, but it we could definitely bring our 5 kids with us next time and have room for everyone. It’d be tight, but it would work for sure. The kitchen cabinets are well stocked for anything you need for food prep/serving, the beds and furniture are really comfy. It felt like home! We loved the porch and hot tub, too!

We were here at the end of October so the colors were the big thing to see. While visiting the train rides are a must do. But book early to get the best times and seats. If you are into rafting and ziplines there are plenty of those options to choose from.

The downtown area had places to eat and shop.

The downtown area had places to eat and shop. People are nice, helpful and receptive. There is a variety of food and bars. We did the Smokey Mountain Railroad trip to the gouge. The left side of the train as its traveling gives the best view. Food on the train was as good as any restaurant.

Enjoyed the outdoors with our grandsons.

Enjoyed the outdoors with our grandsons. The weather wasn't ideal, but we spent a day taking the train ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad from Bryson City to the Nantahala Gorge, which was made even more memorable by the onboard entertainment! At our grandson's request, the "one man band" musician performed, Take Me Home Country Roads." Such fun!!

We rode the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad to the Nantahala Gorge. Excellent adventure and everyone waves at the train! Don't miss the Fontana Dam. Beautiful drive and lots of natural beauty and history.

Nice city, plenty of restaurants and small shops. Train ride was great and food on the train was very, very good. Best pork dinner I've every had. Our host on the train ( McNiel car) ,I believe his name was Dave was fantastic. Very helpful with getting my wifes wheelchair and her on and off the train.

We were in town to ride the Easter Bunny train.

We were in town to ride the Easter Bunny train. Best train ride (most scenic) we have experienced other than The Alaska Railroad! This train and crew is top notch. They even stopped the train to fight a small fire that erupted near the track; but it ballooned and they had to look to our safety on the train and get us away.

This Motel is in a great location in the heart of beautiful Bryson City. You can stroll into town and/or the Smokey Mountain Railroad. It has super parking and is close to the main road to continue your journey the next day. For what it cost this place offers excellent value for money but if you expect 5 star you will be disappointed. We especially liked the rocking chairs outside the rooms. We had a fridge and a/c and the bed and room were tired but clean.

The Sweet Pea tiny home was the perfect stay for our getaway to Bryson City. When we arrived, the cabin was clean and had all the necessary amenities. It was even decorated for the holiday season! The host, Gina, was very responsive and we enjoyed the home close proximity to downtown Bryson City.
