Buckhannon was nice. Shopping, restaurants. Peggy's restaurant has a very good breakfast, lunch, & dinner. We like the painting's on the wall by a local artist. They are for sale, and we have many of them in our home.

It is a very small quaint town, with some of the best places to eat. But what everyone should know most is their fabulous donut shop. The donut shop has a large variety of donuts. There is a flavor that is sure to please just about anyone. The best in my opinion was the Strawberry shortcake. The donut shop also offers sandwiches too. If ever in Buchanan you got to try the Donut Stop.

It is a beautiful place, the downtown area is thriving.
It is a beautiful place, the downtown area is thriving. Food and Walmart are all within 1 mile. Other attractions are 1 hour away. Unseasonably warm in February, but it happens everywhere. Don’t expect to get cell service everywhere as the mountains block the towers. Friendly people, but judgemental of “outsiders”, don’t let it bother you.

Centennial Motel does not exist! We had problem! We got to not existing place! And Booking.com only offers us the difference in what we were supposed to pay and what we paid after spending time and help from other
hotel, that was all booked to find two
rooms for our party!
It was the most unpleasant experience ever! And you are asking to rate non existing motel? Shame on you!
