The place is always clean, the breakfast is great, the rooms are really good. It was great to stay there with 3 kids. The pool is a plus as well. The staff is really nice and helpful. The location is safe and nice.

second time staying this hotel visiting family in Elgin. Hotel is in a great location，with a great Benegan’s bar on the first floor. staff is super friendly and helpful. David at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. we will be staying here again when we are back in Elgin again.

    Staff was great. Hotel was very low grade. Would not recommend or stay there again unless they overhaul the rooms and add breakfast or restaurant. I didn't have a car and am senior with disability for walking a distance. Not much around hotel to accommodate good service.

    Even though I grew up in Rockford, I had never been to Elgin...

    Even though I grew up in Rockford, I had never been to Elgin. It was very nice and had access to many places that we were going. We especially like the food at Jimmy's Charhouse, which is located next the hotel. Great food !!!!! We also attended a party at Pinstripes in South Barrington. A very nice place with lots of things to do.

    The room we received was not good.

    The room we received was not good. Holes in the wall above the bed where something was taken off. The refrigerator made all kinds of sounds but the worst was the bathroom- floor was not clean and there was some mold around and below the bathtub. They are remodeling I guess but no one told us. The pluses are the breakfast, some of the staff and the location.

    I really appreciate the staff. Front desk lady was kind enough to give a room on first floor when I requested as well as check us in a little early. The hotel staff was overall very respectful, helpful & kind. The room was a great size, bed & pillows was sooo comfortable and both room & hotel was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was very good, lots of decent options. Loved the waffles Comfort Suits Inn in general never disappoint.
