    My family and I are from northeast Georgia We have been to beaches in South Carolina and Georgia and Florida even with weather being unpredictable Jekyll Island is one of the most beautiful Islands anyone will have been blessed to visit.We did get to visit Drift Wood Beach which was something to be amazed at first time seeing.I just thank the Good Lord and the state of Georgia for preserving a great place to live and enjoy

    I have been visiting Jekyl Island for over 30 years and have...

    I have been visiting Jekyl Island for over 30 years and have seen it grow. I am glad however they kept it a small town feel. Love the historical district and the Jekyll Island Club. Have stayed at the Historic Club several times and also at the beach resort. Looking forward to that again.

    The people we met working on Jekyll Island were so friendly...

    The people we met working on Jekyll Island were so friendly and welcoming! The island has a very peaceful/quiet atmosphere. There were no crowds. Driftwood beach was just amazing. We loved the grounds of the Jekyll Island club. The trolley tour is a must. The restaurants were great- Tortuga Jack’s, Willets Low Country and of course Jekyll and Tide. All worth the price. It was so easy driving around the island. The next time, we will rent a golf cart. we will definitely be back-it is my new favorite escape Jekyll realty was wonderful to work with, making our stay very easy.

    The Hampton Inn and Suites was isolated enough to seem like...

    The Hampton Inn and Suites was isolated enough to seem like we were the only ones on the island. But not too isolating because restaurants and other stores were close by. Food choices were great and the taste of the food was also wonderful! We ate at Corridor Z and Millet’s Low Country Boil. The short drive to Driftwood Beach was well worth it!!!

    The island is basically our most favorite vacation spot for...

    The island is basically our most favorite vacation spot for short visits. We enjoyed being able to ride bicycles on the trails and especially on the beach from the pier to Driftwood Beach at low tide. The Dolphon tour was really great this time; the dolphins really performed well for us. My wife has been going to Jekyll since her teenage years, over 50 years now. We will continue to visit. I wouldn't consideer ourselves among the younger couples any longer.

    Did not like reservation or cancellation system at hotel… were booked before Hurricane Idalia struck. Our stay was supposed to be 8/31 thru 9/4. Could not travel from Florida to Georgia because we were advised to stay off the roads. Never received Discover CREDIT for cancelled hotel days. Will reach out to my local TV station who handle complaints. Hope to get some TV time.

    The overall hotel location was great! My family and I enjoyed the town and nearby shops. Most places were of walkable distance or a very short car ride (5-10 min.). The hotel breakfast was nice. You offered plenty of choices. My husband and I enjoyed the waffles and breakfast sandwiches. My son enjoyed the muffins. I think he ate 6 total while we were there.

    The hotel is directly situated at a wonderful strech of beach. The rooms and bathrooms may be a bit outdatet, but are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really nice and we enjoyed a swim in the clear pool. Definitely worth a recommendation.

    Absolutely amazing location just in front of the ocean with direct access to the beach. Very calm area- ideal place for relaxation and resting. Very clean and relatively small hotel which was an asset for us as well. Complimentary bikes. Good gym.
