Staying in Lake George Village is preferable since you can walk everywhere in the Village, all the shops and really good places to eat. I've been going to Lake George since I was a child and have brought my children to Lake George. We hadn't been back in 16 years, but finally had the opportunity to revisit it and it was wonderful for my daughter and I. We had many fond memories of Lake George and we made new ones now that we were able to go again. Lake George will always be our favorite place to go on vacation.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

We had a great time overall.
We had a great time overall. Prospect Mountain park was disappointing though. We heard the views were great, however most of the views from the scenic overlooks, 2 of 4 ,were obscured by trees. I recommend Lake George because it’s beautiful and rich in history. There’s plenty to do—whether you’re visiting with family or going solo. I love the restaurants, which offer excellent service, delicious food, and plenty of variety. My favorite part was going to different ice cream shops because there’s so many of them! And one of my favorite restaurants was The Lagoon. A fun thing to do solo is to go on the Mini Ha Ha boat ride.Guest review byCarrieUnited States

Hostess very pleasant and helpful. We had a Queen Room, which was a decent size, and as illustrated by the photos. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well during the 95-degree heatwave.
