Lincoln is the perfect sized city. So much to do.
Lincoln is the perfect sized city. So much to do. Of course, it is nicer from Spring through the Fall so you can visit the zoo, the sunken gardens, etc. The Lied Center is the best for all their shows. It never disappoints! We were just traveling thru the state.
We were just traveling thru the state. We didn't visit any places while here. We did have dinner at the Grub Tub. One of the specials was prime rib. It came with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The prime rib was extremely tough. I ended up taking it back for my dogs to eat. The mashed potatoes were just ok and the broccoli was decent. They had a huckleberry cheesecake that was delicious. Very favorable impression. People are so friendly. Haymarket area was a lot of fun. Leadbelly’s restaurant was outstanding. Enjoyed walking around the beautiful campus of the University. Bought a Nebraska sweatshirt at the Student Union for my grandson. Even saw a movie at the outstanding Marcus theater. Really enjoyed being there. The Museum of American Speed was also a highlight. Lincoln is a very friendly city and there is a lot to do...
Lincoln is a very friendly city and there is a lot to do within walking distance and easy to get around. If you need transportation the front desk will help you in finding or suggesting a type of transportation you'd like . And the front desk will suggest places of interest that will make your stay even better. The only draw back if you walk it is a long walk to Memorial stadium or Pinnacle Bank arena but there are ways to get there as well.Guest review bybruceUnited States
