Our cities got hit with this bomb cyclone. People died down the street from us in Bellevue. I feel a lot of hotel prices went up immediately adding 100 plus onto their price tag. Best Western Alderwood did just the opposite in fact it costed less than it usually would to stay, I got an amazing deal on a King Suite for $111!!!!!!!!! Plus tax all total $127!!! That is insane. The next morning I came down for the biscuits that were not there. That being said, I am so glad they weren't (mostly). They had the best eggs I have ever tasted plenty of bacon hard boiled eggs (you know how best western does it). I had an amazing quality high protein breakfast! Everything was tasty, I even snuck a little waffle w nutella. WHICH you can make tiny waffles as well as the large ones. Perfect! My back hurt from the bed but let's be real, I am a big girl with chronic pain. Everything hurts. It isn't the soft beds fault I am too squishy to enjoy it. I habe been much smaller and there IS a difference in comfort. For my girlfriend, it was perfect. I want to give a HUGE shout out to Best Western for not taking advantage of people in this time but also, for going far above and beyond to make sure people are comfortable and well fed. The lemon water infuser was ice cold and tasted like fresh cold lemon water I would make. Most places, at 3 am, when I roam to my car and drink some coffee or cocoa, both the coffee and water are cold from sitting because it is the middle of the night. Even the water was hot. I have stayed here quite a few times now and will continue to return. Thank you Best Western Alderwood

    Convoluted floor plan layout. Had to walk way to far to get anywhere in the building. Easily get lost as to where you are at. Staff has virtually no personality. Not friendly and not rude. Seems like they couldn't care less if you were there or not. But I wasn't there to entertain them.

    The room was frequently serviced, had a mocrowave and small fridge, and good heating which was manually operated. It was loud but not needed overnight. We didn't spend much time in Lynwood but the Wallmart was easy to get to and next door there were a few Asian places to eat. We used the Korean one and enjoyed it. Other parts of the city were easily reached by car.

    There is a community transport service called ZIP which...

    There is a community transport service called ZIP which takes you anywhere in Lynnwood for $2.50 ($1.25 for Seniors). This is great as if a visit to the shops is needed it makes the return journey laden with purchases much easier. Alderwood Mall is great, safe and has everything anyone could need by way of shops.

    We were traveling to facilitate my wife's surgery at the UW...

    We were traveling to facilitate my wife's surgery at the UW Medical Center, a 7 hour surgery performed by a surgical team from Fred Hurtchinson, the cancer research center. The day we were sceduled to arrive at the hotel, we received a call that the surgery date was changed from Friday, May 12rh, to Monday, May 15th. I contacted the hotel asking them to change our arrival date from May 11th to May 14. I got no response. And why should they respond? They collected the $300 fee for the two night stay. They got their $$$. But, good luck to them. We will NEVER use LaQuinta again.

    Great first experience visiting Lynnwood.

    Great first experience visiting Lynnwood. Our Queen suite so comforting for a family of 4 visiting from Vancouver B.C. The extra sofa bed and extra TV were very helpful for our teenage 'kids'. Rave reviews from our children about the fitness centre and breakfast. Overall clean and well managed facility, and excellent staff.

    Lynnwood has a lot to offer. A great city pool and library. LOTS of shopping opportunities. It is close to the Boeing Museum of flight and close to Seattle. Some nice parks and hikes, but not until spring/

    The breakfast was standard. same as all other hotel/motels of this price range. Breakfast room could be bigger. Most people had to go back to their room as there was no where to sit. With the tables that were there, it was hard to access the fridge, toaster,coffee and garbage can with people trying to get their breakfast.
