Marion is a pretty eventful town.
Marion is a pretty eventful town. There are plenty of things to do in the area, and definitely no shortage of restaurants. I stayed at the Drury Inn, and had a rather nice experience there. There was a slew of restaurants right in the immediate vicinity. I ate at the Applebee's across the way. Very good food, and friendly staff!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Thank God for Marion as my son went to SIU for 4 years With the exception of one hotel in Carbondale the rest truly suck. Marion creates the perfect place for students parents to stay especially during graduation. My room was lovely and at a great price.
My room was lovely and at a great price. After a long 8 hour drive, relaxing in this room was wonderful. I also slept very well. I wasn't looking for fancy. Very dirty.
Very dirty. Took too long to check in, the clerk gave us three room keys before getting our room we booked online. Other reviews said how clean the rooms, not true. The whole place needs attention.
