Enjoyed living in Orange County for 36 yrs, a few miles below Middletown but there within we have all necessities needed. Friendly and helpful people, great resturants and world class hospital. I was visiting a lifelong friend that moved up to Middletown..I have stayed at Super 8..wont ever do that again..and several other places besides LaQuinta..If you want a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay where everything works and everything is clean and fresh and the staff attentive..helpful and cheerfull then you need to stay at LaQuintaGuest review byWilliam - 10.0

My family came here for Legoland, but only went there once...
My family came here for Legoland, but only went there once during our 4 night stay. What we found very appealing was a country fair in Otisville that was perfect for all ages. We all enjoyed watching the pie eating contest. Bear Mountain is nearby and has a trail zoo where, as you walk along a gentle trail, you see animals and regional flora. BM also has an extremely large outdoor swimming pool (there is an entry fee), surrounded by woods so it is a cooling spot on a hot day. We picked up a free local newspaper and saw that pig roasts and auctions were happening at the time we were there. All in all, this is a lowkey, non-touristy part of the Hudson Valley where people can get an authentic, friendly country experience.Guest review byKristinUnited States
