Made the reservation confirmation No. 6654536792 on line for $130.00 dollars for one night requesting a downstairs room. Got to the hotel and was told it was going to be $150 dollars. $20 dollars more for a downstairs room. So this is the way Quality Inn treats their Seniors that can't climb stairs, charging them more money to stay downstairs. We will stay somewhere else from now on. Natchitoches is a beautiful city.
Natchitoches is a beautiful city. Lots of history and beautiful homes. Love the riverfront and the shops and restaurants! It is gorgeous during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season, with the thousand of lights along the riverbank. The Christmas festival is so much fun! It's always the first week in December, but you need to make reservations a year ahead of time and stay IN Natchitoches near Front Street, along the river. The Hotels near I-49 on Hwy. 6 are too far (6 miles) because on Christmas Festival Saturday, the streets are closed for the Festival and you would have to walk a few miles to get there.Guest review byCorc - 8.0

PEOPLE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WERE THERE FOR THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AND THEY WERE AMAZING. ALL THE FOOD WE ATE WAS VERY GOOD. SINCE IT WAS A FESTIVAL WE ATE FROM VENTORS ON THE STREET. HAD A DRINK AT MAMA'S, FRIENDLY STAFF. ITS AN EASY TOWN TO NAVIGATE.Guest review byLeslieUnited States - 10.0

I’m a bit partial because I’m from there but, it’s the most laid back city you’ll ever want to visit. Most of the people are nice but, as in every city, you have those that take issue with others. Sad but true anywhere you go. Natchitoches is full of history. Take as many tours as you can and try and get to the tours on Cane River(where I’m actually from), you’ll love it. All sorts of things to do year round. Plan your next trip to Natchitoches and also book your stay at Chateaux St Denis on second street. The town is fun, and places to eat were wonderful. There were several places offering delivery as well. We did go during a holiday weekend when the town had activities going on.
