We met with the worst ever experience at this place. We were given a key card of a room which was already occupied. Then upon request we were given a room with one king size bed and a small bed which was small and uncomfortable. So plattsburgh ny has a lot of opportunities to do stuff.
So plattsburgh ny has a lot of opportunities to do stuff. Lake Champlain is absolutely gorgeous. The mountains of Vermont and the Adirondacks surround you. There's plenty of eateries and shopping. A must stop is Clare and Carl's, Plattsburgh is known for Michigan's I've had many McSweeney's is good too. With Ausable Chasm, the high peaks, lake placid, the Champlain islands and Vermont all are very close. The Saint Lawrence seaway and Maseena is on 90 minutes away. Try high falls gorge too. There's numerous place's to shop as well. Cumberland head plattsburgh bay state campground offers good camping and an awesome beach. Most people will stick to the shopping malls and the outskirts but you definitely need to go to the downtown area view the incredibly beautiful mansions of the streets and the centers and see the industrial colonial area by the river. Have nothing bad to say. Would have liked to stay longer, but one night was all we could afford. Just shopping for xmas. Could get hotels at a cheaper rate, but we have absolute confidence in the Hampton Inn chain for cleanliness, and nice hot breakfast.Guest review byJaneCanada
