Beautiful historical City, plenty to see and do! We spent two days seeing the sites, experiencing the Haunted Pub Crawl and the historic area and another exploring the the downtown area on golf carts. Great restaurants, especially the Oasis with live music, The Cajun Crab Hut and lots more in the Historic Area all were Fantastic. So many places to relax and have drinks while listening to local music. The Original Haunted Pub crawl was absolutely awesome and lots of fun for our whole group! This is a very walkable, incredibly gorgeous city. There is something for everyone - museums for the history buff, attractions that will appeal to kids, all kinds of restaurants (the Columbia is a MUST DO), and bars, and every kind of shop you can imagine. It felt very safe - LOTS of people out, streets mostly well lit. VERY convenient to water attractions (boat tours), and of course, THE BEACHES. St. Augustine has so much to offer, we could have stayed a few days to explore the city, shopping, and night life. We came for a show at the St Augustine Amphitheater and stayed at the Conch House on this trip but yes, recommend visiting St Augustine.Guest review byBeckyUnited States - 10

What a gorgeous place. Lots of options for food and drink. Lots of history with tours. Just avoid at the weekends as it’s full of hen nights and gangs partying. We have lived in SC for 44 years and had never been to St. Augustine, FL so we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. We chose to go in September which is the "slow" part of the year but it gave us plenty of time to enjoy the city. We took the shuttle from Southern Oaks Inn to the historical district most days. We walked, we shopped, and we enjoyed time being together. We took the "Hop On - Hop Off" shuttle once we were in the historical district. The drivers were knowledgeable and entertaining. We toured the Castillo de San Marcos Fortress, Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, and a sunset cruise on the Black Raven. Very enjoyable trip!Guest review byDeboraUnited States
