We did a hike with Cedar + Sage Boutique Hikes and it was the absolute highlight of my 2 week trip to the USA. I could not recommend it highly enough. Michael was very knowledgable, friendly and safety conscious. The picnic he provided was delicious. He was even able to readily cater to my gluten free needs.
They provide most of the hiking gear you need - poles, canyoning boots, waders and a waterproof backpack.
It is an absolute must.

oscar's cafe was a Joy! Service and food were on the mark!
We all enjoyed the Zion Park and its magnificient vistas. Hiking apparently is the best thing going in Springdale. Local shopping offereed creativity and the ever-present friendliness of staff. No disappointments. Would rreturn!

Location is at the outskirts of the small town of Springdale...
Location is at the outskirts of the small town of Springdale, which is a tourist town just outside the south entrance of Zion National Park. Springdale can get really busy and congested, so it was really nice to be on the end of the main drag. It is well within walking distance to the park and all the restaurants (Pizza & Noodle; Oskars; Bit & Spur; Brew Pub) and cool gallery/shopping spots (Worthington Gallery) in town. You also have the free in town shuttle that stops in several places throughout the town and takes you to the pedestrian entrance of the park. There is a shuttle stop at the hotel, which is ultra convenient.

Springdale is a picturesque little town right at the gate to Zion National Park. It has a good selection of lodging, restaurants, and shops, including outfitters for active pursuits in the park. We can recommend Oscar's and Spotted Dog restaurants for any meal and Porters for breakfast. Zion Outfitters, conveniently located right at the walk-in footbridge into the park, is a great place to rent water boots and hiking sticks for the Narrows hike.

Springdale is a great location for people visiting Zion National Park. The shuttle service makes it easy to get to and from the park or to the shops and restaurants in town. Oscar's is a wonderful place to eat. We had breakfast there twice and were not disappointed. They serve very good food and large portions. I was impressed with their tea selections. We also ate at Meme's Cafe and liked it. We ate pasta at Pizza & Noodles. The serving was large enough for two meals. There are a variety of ice cream and gift shops with unique items.

Springdale is a very nice town.
Springdale is a very nice town. It’s clean, nice hotels and nice restaurants with good food. The bus rides to Zion from the town and the buses taking you in the park to your hiking trails is very convenient. The town itself so easy to get around by car and most places are within walking distance if you prefer to walk. The town feels very safe which is a huge plus. Great place to vacation!

Great place to locate yourself to visit nearby Zion Canyon National Park. Following a good hearty breakfast we caught the shuttle from just down the road from the hotel into and out of the park. The room was very clean and well appointed and the hotel was only a short walk from the Springdale township where you can access groceries and restaurants.

A lovely property in the heart of Springdale. Perfect location for hiking Zion as you can get the shuttle. The breakfast vouchers were a lovely touch plus the cookies and lemonade available during the day! Incredibly hospitable owners.
