Long story short, the staff was exceptionally polite, everything was clean, and the kitchenette was functionally above what was expected. There are quirks of the Marriott brand standards which I don't like (soft gel pillows being the worst, random abstract art, breakfast was inconsistent quality) but these are not the fault of the individual location's management and I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in the area.Guest review byChristopherUnited States - 8.0

Sterling is very close to the international Airport Washington Dulles and has its own metro station connecting it both to the airport and to downtown DC. We asked to switch rooms and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are fine but they have picnic benches outside the rooms at the back on the left side ground level where people sit with their ghetto blasters, laughing and talking loudly... poorly thought through. When we switched rooms one of the guests cursed at us and told us to get lost though we totally were minding our own business.
