We loved the look of the town, hoping to come back and see more. Parking in most areas was hard to find and it’s all pay to park. We found a great coffee shop called coffee labs and the bagel emporium was delicious as well. We found some of the restaurants didn’t seem family friendly and were rather pricey. Quaint town with river views and beautiful littles homes, quaint shopping areas etc. Lunch at Horsefeathers was excellent. Rini's and Half Moon are other places we enjoyed. Tarrytown has a wonderful intimate downtown area with many very good restaurants. It is easy to get down to the Hudson River to walk or relax. This area has many joining towns equally as quaint. There was a lot to do in Tarrytown as well as Sleepy Hollow. Everything was in walking distance if you choose to not drive. A lot of restaurants to choose from. Tarrytown is near several large estate homes that are popular tourist destinations. It was also a good stopping point on our trip from Canada and Maine to Virginia. The town is quaint and lovely.
The town is quaint and lovely. Loved shopping from the independent sellers, and even having a chance to buy art and products from local artists and vendors. Everyone was super nice, and allowed us to feel comfortable and at home despite being from the city (sometimes us folks from NYC are a bit much, I get it!) Having an onsite restaurant and bar was great and enjoyed a meal and drinks one night and drinks the next night. The pool, work out area, sauna and indoor pool area were enjoyed by my friend and I.
