What a concept I is was charged extra charged extra plus no compensation for the unacceptable stay including pungent smell of Weed and Cigarettes.     Topeka is a cool little town.

    Topeka is a cool little town. Great little restaurants, especially that iron rail brewing. It's never crowded, there's never traffic. Easy city to walk. I never feel unsafe when I'm there, even though there are some strange characters walking around sometimes. We stop here on the drive to Denver twice a year at least.

    We loved the resort, very nice.

    We loved the resort, very nice. Staff was awesome and friendly. There was a little problem getting toilet paper for the room and towels, and they appologized for the inconvenience. Lobby bar tender in evening was awesome too. So friendly and helplful. Resort is very pretty, and golf course nice too. We enjoyed the golf course, Casino area was nice. We really loved the resturants and bars, food etc. Room was roomy, we did not need that much room but for 2 nights it was nice to have a balcony to sit out on. We had to call to customer service for chairs for balcony, toilet paper and towels. We did also recieve an extra blanket the AC unit was difficult to regulate it was either too cold or too hot. HVAC unit may need servicing. Overall this resort was nice and we will return again in future.

    When I booked the hotel I said I wanted one with breakfast...

    When I booked the hotel I said I wanted one with breakfast and a hot tub. No breakfast and the hot tub was broke. No pillowcases on the pillows. I bought some at Walmart. Up half the night because of noise. I paid 152.00 for this stay. Rip off.

    It's been 5 years since I was in Topeka.

    It's been 5 years since I was in Topeka. Perviously, I lived here for more than 10 years. I was shocked to see how many restaurants had lowered the quality of their food. There were a couple of places where the customer service was very good but, overall, employees seem to be aiming for the lowest acceptable form of service. Why is it that the Walmart employees can be so friendly and helpful while most stopped caring? The only restaurants that served a high quality product was a place called The Blue Moose and the Longhorn Steakhouse.

    Check out the Evil Knievel and Harley Davidson Museum - if...

    Check out the Evil Knievel and Harley Davidson Museum - if you were a fan at all! The Capital is a beautiful and great place to visit as well. The Kansas History Museum, once done with remodeling is also another worthwhile stop.

    Room was OK - everything worked - paid a bunch to get the room with a spa tub, but maybe worth it (great treat). The stay was good only because we had not expected to use a lot of the facilities onther than the pool(s), which were fine. LIKED the breakfast offering (choices and variety), but the food not that great (i.e. scrambled eggs & no toast). It was a pleasant stay only because everything was clean - just old and run down looking.

    The location of the property was perfect for town centre and the capital building. The check in and reservation process was just fine. The room was as advertised and represented good value for money. The location is good, bars and restaurants are within 5-10 mins walk of the property and are quite varied. Car parking is plentiful and free of charge.

    Good from the moment of arrival , clean public areas and very clean well kitted out room .good shower good a/c which was a big bonus topped out at 92f on our arrival night prior to a thunder storm , have no concerns about rebooking it was all good .
