One of the most powerful and meaningful symbols we always remembered — and looked forward to seeing again — was the statue of the elderly woman who stood with quiet dignity as a tribute to her legacy and contributions to Mohegan Sun. Her presence was not only a beautiful part of the resort’s history, but also a living reminder of timeless values: wisdom, resilience, and generosity. To my deep disappointment, I discovered that the statue had been removed, along with other historical elements that once gave Mohegan Sun its unique emotional and cultural identity. That statue resembled my late mother, who passed away at the remarkable age of 97. Each visit here was not only a vacation — it was, for me, like a reunion with her memory. By pure chance — or perhaps something greater — I shared my sadness with a kind Mohegan Sun employee named Olga, who has worked here since 1997. That is also my mother’s name. The emotional impact of that encounter moved all of us — myself, my wife, and Olga — to tears. I humbly urge you to consider bringing back that cherished statue and the historical symbols that once decorated this magnificent place. Not only as a gesture of respect for the legacy they represent, but as a gift for future generations who come not just for entertainment, but also to feel a deeper connection to the spirit of Mohegan Sun. Hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We liked having two queen beds that were separated by a small kitchen island. Loved the window seat. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were too hard and high for us. Location was great for our visit to the Sound and Casino.

I was very appreciative that we were only minutes from Foxwood. Also, there were restaurants within close vicinity of the Hotel. It was immaculate. The Staff were most kind and helpful . The breakfast was delicious, many choices. I will definitely come again when I attend a Connecticut Sun Home Game!

Close to Mystic where there's plenty to see, Mystic Village...

Close to Mystic where there's plenty to see, Mystic Village Shops, Mystic Aquarium, and Mystic seaport. Minutes from 2 casinos, close to beaches and some good restaurants, Mystic Pizza II, and The Steak Loft. Plenty to and see.

I went to Mohegan Sun for a basketball match but stayed in Uncasville as accommodation was cheaper. There isn’t a lot there so unless you are travelling for the casino or a definitive purpose I don’t think it’s a good location for a holiday.

I went to see a comedy show at the Mohegan Sun.

I went to see a comedy show at the Mohegan Sun. The show was great! We are from NJ and it’s nothing like Atlantic City. The casino is on it’s own. We stayed at the Hyatt which was 5 mins away and we took a shuttle back and forth. They had expensive restaurants and average restaurants. Some closed by 10, some by 11 pm. We were surprised by that. Overall it was good for what we did .

Clean pleasant hotel with friendly staff and yummy breakfast. Had a convenient shuttle to Mohegan sun that we did not use as we were going to a show at Foxwoods. Tiny bar and the cost of the room was over budget.

Had a queen suite ,nice sized room with fridge,microwave,couch, although the fridge died on our second day.Wifi was intermittent, had to log in several times.Breakfast area is too small for hotel size with too few choices for food.Staff were friendly and helpful especially shuttle driver who was very busy trying to get people to and from casino for a concert .Went to get shuttle to casino next night (Sunday)and was informed by front desk it only runs Friday and Saturday.Hotel was within walking distance to stores and some restaurants.

Nice hotel with super friendly staff - thanks, guys, you are the best. The room is big and clean and super quiet. The location is as well good - in the woods, we had a good night sleep. Breakfast is okay but nothing remarkable, still eatable and for the price is great.
