I stayed there for two nights. As my flight was late at night, asked for 4 hours late check out. Paid around 30-35% of a full day charge for late check out.To me, it was a good deal. 1. The staffs are very professional, extremely supportive and eager to make your stay a memorable one. Specially, Mark, Nhi and Coe (if i am not mistaken the name of front desk staff) helped me a lot. 2. My room was exactly carbon copy of the booking dot com photos. No bad surprises. 3. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. 4. The hot water is available round the clock. 5. Breakfast is simple, bread, butter, jam, jelly, egg, fresh fruits (2-3 types),fresh juice, coffee/tea, Crepe (banana/chocolate/honey)... To me it was good.

Incredible experience from start to finish. We were in the club level room - we came in extremely tired from a full day of travel including delayed flights and the staff there did the check-in process so seamlessly. The breakfast each day, the laundry and housekeeping staff, the food and drink available in the lounge, their generosity and level of service, everything was amazing. During our stay it was Tet and the hotel had even arranged for guests to be able to see Tet fireworks throughout the city from the roof / terrace of the hotel. The hotel is centrally located and quite near to District 1 and to other restaurants in the area but just far enough that you’re not up all night listening to traffic. It’s both central yet secluded - we can’t wait to go back and visit them again.

FAQs about hotels in Ho Chi Minh City

Asian Tradition, French Flair and Growing Modernity

With delicious Vietnamese aromas, small silk shops and ancient pagodas, the streets of Ho Chi Minh City dazzle tourists with their vibrant atmosphere. Its rich culture includes beautiful French colonial palaces mixed with modern skyscrapers that show the power of Vietnam’s economic capital.

Whether you decide to visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, or the Municipal Theater, you’ll see the care shown by Saigonese people in preserving their historic legacy. On the other hand, the Haussmann-style boulevards are typically packed with small motorcycles that make every street crossing a whole new experience.

Contemporary Saigon can be seen in places like the Bitexco Financial Tower, located directly at central Ham Nghi Blvd. Meanwhile, Saigon Center or Zen Plaza are some of its modern shopping malls.

For a look into Vietnam’s recent history, don’t miss the Reunification Palace or the War Remnants Museum. A sunset visit to the 23rd September Park is the best way to mingle with the locals.

Indulge yourself in one of the 5-star Ho Chi Minh hotels, or stay in a budget hotel at Pham Ngu Lao Street. Don’t miss the Ho Chi Minh City accommodations on Booking.com before arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport!

Upon arrival at the airport was already a disaster when it took 1 hour for the immigration. Plenty of counter closed. They got so huge population, why nobody work in the counter. Shameful for an international airport.

Ho Chi Minh is a vibrant city with lots of French influence. The city has many interesting places to visit like the city centre with the Opera House and statue of Ho Chi Minh, Ben Thanh markets, Ben Nghe street food restaurants, Independence Palace and War Remnants museum. Outside the city is the Cu Chi tunnels and the Mekong river which are both day trips. The restaurants are fantastic with tasty food and the famous egg coffee at ‘Egg Yolk’ was a hit.

Ho Chi Minh City is a vibrant, bustling destination that...

Ho Chi Minh City is a vibrant, bustling destination that perfectly blends tradition with modern energy. The moment you arrive, you’re struck by the sheer pace of life—scooters zipping by, street vendors calling out, and the aroma of delicious food on every corner. There’s no shortage of things to do here. The War Remnants Museum and the Independence Palace are must-visits if you want to understand Vietnam’s history and resilience. The Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, both beautiful colonial-era landmarks, make for great photo stops and a taste of the city’s French influence. For those who enjoy shopping and culture, the Ben Thanh Market is lively and full of bargains, souvenirs, and authentic Vietnamese street food. If you’re looking for something a little more unique, Bui Vien Street is the nightlife hub, with bars, restaurants, and a buzzing backpacker scene. Day trips are another highlight. A visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels is eye-opening—you can even crawl through the tunnels yourself to get a sense of Vietnam’s wartime history. The Mekong Delta tour is equally memorable, offering boat rides through lush waterways, visits to floating markets, and chances to see traditional village life up close. Of course, food is everywhere and always incredible. From a simple bowl of pho on the street to trendy rooftop restaurants with city views, Ho Chi Minh City delivers on flavor. Don’t miss trying banh mi, fresh spring rolls, and local iced coffee. The city can be chaotic at times—traffic is intense and crossing the road feels like an adventure in itself—but that’s part of its charm. It’s loud, energetic, and full of character. Overall, Ho Chi Minh City is an exciting destination for travelers who want history, culture, food, and a bit of chaos rolled into one. It’s a city that keeps you on your toes and leaves you with unforgettable memories.

There was 3 of us, my husband was in a wheelchair, the foot paths and entrance to shops etc were not good for person with disability. He can walk but not too far, too many steps and very narrow walkways everywhere. We had a good time and had days tours, but again not really suitable for person with walking problem. Although the guides were amazingly helpful. Enjoyed but 4 days was enough for us. The traffic is chaotic, but fun to watch. The airport was very unfriendly to person with disability, did not like the airport both arriving and departing, very dis-organized and un-helpful. People outside the airport were lovely and very helpful. Loved the place just not the airport.

HCMC is definitely worth visiting because of the sites of historic significance in the recent history of Vietnam. One should definitely spend time at the Independence Palace which was the governmental site of the Thieu Government, prior to his resignation and the eventual fall of the South Vietnamese Government on April 30, 1975
