Vu and Anna were GOLDEN! So lovely and helpful, they gave great advice, made lovely ice tea for us, had super cute puppies, organised tours and even woke up at 4am to help with our onward sleeper bus. 5* Highly rated!

Hoa the owner was absolutely amazing from the very first moment. She took care of EVERYTHING in our staying from picking us up from the bus station in the middle of the night, earlier than expected, through free early check in to dinners and renting a motorbike. The place is spectacular and calming. Everything was beautiful. The location is 10 minutes driving from the center that is anyhow not that epic so we didn't mind. It was quiet and amazing.

Beautiful place to stay! The girl in the reception was very helpful and friendly! The view of the room was stunning! The only downside is that there is no glass enclosure in the shower! But I would definitely recommend it!

The scenery is breathtaking. The owners and employees are welcoming, hospitable, friendly and helpful and accommodated our every need! The food was varied, delicious and cooked fresh to order. The rooms were spotless and spacious. The pets were friendly and amusing. Definitely come back!

It was amazing to stay here, honestly. Super cheap and Hien and her family were nothing short of amazing. we had an issue with our Air conditioning on day 1 and it was sorted straight away. They helped us 4 at any point we needed. We booked our bus from Phong Nha to Hanoi through Hien and she left in the middle of her family meal to bring us personally to the bus station and she stayed with us until we left. For the price I could not recommend here enough.

This is the best place I've ever stayed. It is located on the lakeside with a stunning mountain view from every corner. I arrived from Ninh Binh by night bus and I paid 50k for a grab from the bus stop. They have 24h service and staff are very helpful. Food was fantastic. I extended my stay and did not want to leave.

We stayed at Commander Lodge for two non-consecutive nights, before and after our jungle tour with OxalisTour. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the swimming pool available for guests is also very nice. The staff was extremely kind — they allowed us to check in early at 7 a.m. after a sleepless night on a dreadful sleeping bus, washed our clothes and shoes very quickly on both occasions, and even contacted a scooter rental for us so we could explore Phong Nha. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Phong Nha for one or more nights.

    Lovely area that is not as touristy as others.

    Lovely area that is not as touristy as others. Phong Nha cave and Paradise cave were both lovely to visit. We hired a motorbike between two people and visited them ourselves. Cheaper than doing a tour. And we got to see lovely scenery enroute to the caves. We also joined some others for the boat to Phong Nha caves to share the cost of the boat.

    Very nice room, local bathroom system unusual for westerners. Breakfast ok ( except coffee wich in most places Phong nha is not good) very good help from Linh Over all I give a 8-9 grade to my experience at this hotel

    A long boat ride into the cave followed by a quieter paddling inside. The caves is huge largest I've ever been and very impressive with the structures. After boat ride, we walked a short while allowing to view them up close.

    We have been to Phong Nha many times, 8 times already. We go Phong Nha for a quiet and peaceful time and at the same time you have the opportunity of adventures like visit the biggest cave in the world (booked in advanced)

    We did the Phuong Nha Kayak tour and this was awesome.

    We did the Phuong Nha Kayak tour and this was awesome. We went way past where the boats go and went into two different caves. One cave we went in over 1 kilometre. We had the option of a mud bath and swimming. A much better experience than just hoping in a boat and going into the cave and out again. We went to paradise cave. This is a must do. We only did the 1 km boardwalk. We road there on a bike. No need for a tour. Next time I would do the 7km hike into the cave but this is a tour.
