What an interesting and wonderful area! It's beautiful and there's so much to see - from the city itself with its very lively market, to the pottery area with its iconic kilns, to the adjacent island of An Binh, which is rural and very beautiful. Vinh Long is a great city for tourists, as you experience local life easily. There are nearly no other tourists around, we only saw one other group on our 2 day trip. The city has great places to eat and is easy to discover by bike. The Bus station can be reached via West Bank Station in Ho Chi Minh. We were very grateful that the home stay Mekong Pottery offered organized trips and also the options to have dinner at the home stay. There was a lot of information provided on the website. The host was always present and open for answering our questions. We recommend the trips we booked via the home stay a lot! We had a great stay. The room and the outdoor bathroom are beautifully made and fit the surroundings so well. It's a little oasis for travellers.Guest review byLisaGermany

They were more than willing to help get you where you need to go. The attached cafe serves wonderful cakes and refreshing drinks. Each guest get two complimemtary drinks and cakes. The rooftop bar opens at 430pm, and the centre piece is a replica Eiffel Tower. They serve all types of alcohol as well as drinks and cakes from the downstairs Cafe.
