Apia is a beautiful place to visit.
Apia is a beautiful place to visit. You should be prepared with an itinerary if travelling solo or as a couple, or family with small kids. Although alot of those of Samoan heritage would spend a bit of time with family. We spent a little time with family, and managed to visit my grandma's headstone and do up her floral arrangement and solar lights. The temperature I know alot of people would love. Even when I’m here for work, it still feels like a getaway – the pace of life is relaxed, the people are incredibly friendly, and the natural beauty all around makes every day feel special. There’s a great balance between local culture, good food, and spots to unwind. There is so much more to Samoa to see than just Apia.
There is so much more to Samoa to see than just Apia. There are many beautiful resorts on the southern side of the island and many great snorkelling spots. 2 restaurants we enjoyed in Apia with Paddles and Giodarno's. Apia is stuck in 70s timewarp. Slow, relaxed, friendly with limited options for food and entertainment. We loved it. We hired rental cars which gave us more options and also visited Savaii and the southern part of Upolu. The snorkeling is great and no boats required.Guest review byglenysNew Zealand

In addition to that, the bathroom had its own handwash and plenty of towels. The bathroom was immaculate compared to a 4 star we stayed at previously. The staff who came up to check the room was in order & that we had enough plates was so lovely. She was the highlight of the hotel in fact. So friendly and welcoming. More than what we expected and she was very warm and welcoming to us every time she came! The rooms were big and clean and the house was spacious. The location was close to everything and the host was so lovely! Every room was airconditioned so we had an amazing and comfortable stay.
