Absolutely stunning hotel. Rooms were fantastic, beds massive and the balcony was an added bonus. Layout and decor of the hotel was equally grand - by far the best I saw in Samoa. Facilities exceptional. Location great. My personal highlight was seeing the Fia Fia dancing.

The staff were amazing. Always greeted with a smile and helpful. Enjoyed the rooms and very clean. Loved the old colonial style of the building. Shuttle service was amazing as well. The family room, the pool and the complimentary breakfast and how close it was to family and Apia city. The staff were very nice and patient at checkin. Despite it being half a medical centre and a hotel it was wonderful. I would definitely come back again! Since being in Samoa since the 09th have had issues with all of our accomodations. In the hopes of Alec's Hotel being our last accommodation before we departed, it was nice to finally feel that my expectations were met. Also thank you to Camilo for helping me get a bigger room for my family as I had originally booked a 3 bed room and for allowing me to take my kids early this morning to have a quick swim before leaving.

Room service whenever needed, just needed to hang sign on door if you wanted it or not. Friendly staff members who stops to chat with you. Security guard on site, and he is really friendly. He would ask if we needed help with any luggage daily, because we will leave in the morning and. One back late at night, just to shower and sleep. Location is right across from the market and in between 2 main big supermarkets. So you can pop out to get essentials or food.
