We stayed one night at the guest house at Suma's Rest and it was an ideal location to visit Addo elephant park. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, and we felt welcome and well looked after.

- very friendly staff - comfortable and large room with all amenities it requires - two nice pools, a larger and a smaller one - authentic breakfast, we especially liked the Uganda Rolex dish :) - close proximity to Addo Elephant Park main entrance - Management pro-actively mentioning the proximity of a gravel road close by where there's potential louder truck traffic (but was not a problem at all) - also, as there is no dinner available, the Elephant House already reserved us a table in a restaurant near by - excellent service! - large grocery shopping facility within 5min drive

The hosts of Chicane Bed and Breakfast are incredibly friendly and made the stay feel more like staying with friend’s or family. From welcoming us on arrival, giving us friendly chat at breakfast to inviting us to join their family for a drink in their stunning bar/pool area. We would certainly be recommending this to anyone wishing to visit the stunning Addo Elephant national park.

The Stellenhof guesthouse near Addo was the perfect location in our plan to have some game drives in and around the Addo Elephant Parc. The family domain is very well maintained and hyper clean! The staff is very friendly and does do all they can to make it a perfect stay. We were also lucky to be able to have our dinner at the farm, which was very nice. Special kudos goes to Jeandre for her support on all our inquiries & to Ntosh, the always happy lady making sure everything runs smoothly. We can only recommend this guesthouse to everyone! We stayed in a beautiful African style cottage set in lovely gardens. Very comfortable bed. Great location for visiting Addo Elephant Park as day visitors. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good and varied choice available.

The best thing about Happy Lands is the wonderful hospitality that Mike & Nita offer. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable and have an enjoyable stay. It felt like we were just staying at an old friends house! Happy Lands itself is beautiful, with lovely manicured gardens, tasteful decor in the bedrooms and the separate chalets mean guests have a lot of privacy. Being on the citrus farm makes for a romantic wake-up each morning with the sound of birds and the sunrise forming over the orchards.
