We loved everything about the property. The location was excellent and the surrounding breath taking. Mostly our host Mr Trevor, he is the best. He made us feel so welcomed and comfortable, he even helped plan our itinerary and all the spots he recommended were exceptional. Thank you Trevor and Monica for the wonderful stay we had and... This apartment was perfect for my needs. Comfortable furniture, clean and fresh, with plenty to do in the flat, decent kitchenette facilities, wifi and a nice hot shower! I didn't use the yard much due to the weather, but when (not if!) I return in the summertime I will! Beach and cafes within spitting distance, what's not to like? Thanks Tom and Des for being great hosts!

    Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. It is was great to have a long beach in Muizenberg but at the time we went there we found lots of seaweed and there were some constructions going on that created unpleasant smells.

    Muizenberg is a big surf area attracting many people who love being in or close to the water. It is busy and active with plenty of action on or near the water. Plenty of eating places with great coffee to go. Not Hout Bay or Camps Bay so don't go thinking you will get fine dining and dressed up crowds. Think more bohemian and down to earth. A great vibe if you love the ebb and flow of the ocean and surfers.

    Surfers Corner specifically was a whole great vibe! A community on their own. I got to surf for the first time. People on surfers corner were friendly and open. Close enough to Checkers to buy groceries. A nice balance of food places and great places to buy swimming and surfing equipment.

    I loved the views, and the marina area is nice for running and walking. I did not go to the beach but I believe it to be good for surfing etc. a small trip South takes one to an array of vibrant restaurants. Really great atmosphere and a wonderful area to run and walk in.
