Lodge was really fabulous but surpassed by the wonderful staff and the remarkable safari guides. Facility is on a private reserve and the lodges all communicate so one never felt crowded when seeing the animals. Never more than 3 vehicles at any one site.

My friend and I loved everything about the this lodge, especially the food. All meals were glorious and very delicious with very generous portions! Kudos to the chefs! We enjoyed everything that we had. The staff members were absolutely friendly, always willing to assist, a pleasure to be with and they made our stay wholesome and comfortable! Stay shining team ❤️ All rooms were clean and fresh. Well done to the cleaners and maintenance team. The game drives were very fun and very informative/educational. They were fantastic! We had a short break in between our drive, in the bushes with drinks and snacks (the ranger usually stopped at the safest place with beautiful views). Stefan was our ranger/guid and he was incredible. He loves his job and he's very knowledgeable about the environment and animals. He shared a lot of interesting facts about the different types of animals that we saw. We saw lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, rhinos, buffaloes, kudus (just to name a few) and many more as well as the different kinds of birds. This place has really made me appreciate nature more.

This is a really good game lodge which is very good value for money. Our spacious room had an amazing view and animals often came right past our deck. In the main building food and drink were always available. All three meals were very good with a good choice of food. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. All the grounds were immaculate and the deck in front of the dining room had a view of a watering hole where we saw many animals drinking, including a giraffe. Our ranger, Jonno, ensured we saw four of the big five, leopards are always elusive. Additionally, there was a wide range of antelopes, birds, a hippopotamus and a serval which was a rare sighting.

We loved the food and the accomodation although we would not choose tented accomodation again. The game viewing was spectacular and the ranger careful and very helpful. The roads are not in a good condition at all and caused much discomfort.

Value for money considered, for us - a little disappointed.

Value for money considered, for us - a little disappointed. The fine dining part: I would not consider it a true dining experience and left us feeling underwhelmed. Our first high tea was ok with an assortment of cakes and biscuits with toasted ham and cheese toasted sandwiches ( Which we must say was head and shoulders above the hot chips and mini kebabs we got the next day) . Breakfast was the normal A la Carte menu with the usual spread of yogurts and cereals. Dinner was enjoyable and we should really commend all the staff for the exceptional service. The bush part: The game park is more suited towards the person seeking a quite and relaxing time away from the city with the opportunity to see some antelope with the occasional member of the big 5. (Although we did see lion, it was through the fence of the boma they were in). Highlight of the trip being a moderate herd of buffalo at a watering hole to which the driver could take us pretty close to. The accommodation part: The lodge is a beautiful place to be, with a nice size swimming pool and lounging area ( Pool not heated as advertised, although could of been due to maintenance ) We just wished there was a bit more to do than either waiting for your Safari drives or meal times. (Understandably, this might not be the case for everyone, but we found ourselves constantly looking at the clock in anticipation for a reason to leave the room.) The rooms are luxurious, comfortable and spacious with everything one could want for a short getaway. As an added extra - the spa treatments were great and thoroughly enjoyed.

From check in to check out, Nambiti is a great place.

From check in to check out, Nambiti is a great place. The lodge was well appointed with great meals included in the price. Because it is situated on a hill overlooking the Nambiti game reserve we had great views at mealtimes as well as when we spent time at the beautiful pool. While we were spending time at the pool, we had antelope grazing literally meters away from us with their calves, this was the same for the rooms where it was a joy to watch them. The game drives were really the highlight with the guides making sure we get to the best viewing spots to see animals like lion, elephant and rhinos and there were more than enough sightings of antelope, they are a big 5 reserve so expect a lot of animals. The spa was a great experience with experienced staff and we enjoyed our session, beautifully situated as well. The lodge is starting to show its age, but they are planning an upgrade in the 2nd quarter which will make visiting Nambiti Hills a great experience.

We found it awesome.

We found it awesome. We are both friends from California though I live in KZN now. Everything is taken care of with care. If anything is needed, it will be taken care of promptly. If you are looking for a safari where everything is taken care of and you want to see big game in their natural habitat, I strongly recommend. You will not be disappointed.
