Everything was fantastic! The location is stunning, our cottage was beautiful decorated and spacious. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They even made a birthdaycake for my sons birthday. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. As a special touch for our honeymoon, they even upgraded us to an ocean-facing room which made our stay even more memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The view from the room was simply spectacular, and we could spend hours simply gazing out at the ocean and the surrounding landscape. The peace and tranquility of the surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The bar at The Fernery was beautifully designed, and the fireplace provided the perfect setting for a cozy evening. The ambiance of the bar was warm and inviting, and we loved spending time there. One of the things we loved most about The Fernery was the sense of seclusion and privacy. Despite being located in the national park, it felt like a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The natural beauty of the surroundings provided a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere that we will never forget. Overall, The Fernery is an exceptional property that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay in Tsitsikamma National Park. As soon as I arrived, I was struck by the beauty of the place and then positively amazed by the friendliness and politeness of the staff and owners! .. they requested a transfer for me to Tsitsikamma, and they were super helpful!!! The hotel is beautiful, impeccably clean, and you can see the care taken in every detail! The rooms, the bathroom, the garden and the breakfast area are impeccable!!!!

The property was breathtakingly beautiful. I woke up bright and early each morning to try and catch the sunrise. I took awesome hikes through the Forrest and enjoyed the best spa experience with Michelle. Jermina was very helpful at reception too and assisted with any itinerary I had or experience I wanted to book.

    This quaint little town has so much to offer.

    This quaint little town has so much to offer. The access to the forests with its fantastic hikes, loads of other activities and a couple of great restaurants. Marilyn's diner is a must visit if you are ever in this town. The team at the Treetop canopy tours are amazing.

    We just Luv this quaint little town, love that it's in the heart of nature yet it still offers fun adventures for everyone! Absolutely love the peace and quiet, the birds, the forest with stunning views from both mountains and sea. The suspension bridge at Stormsrivier Mouth is a Must See to experience. Marilyn's Diner and Tsitsikamma Village Inn & Hotel always worth a visit with great food, excellent milkshakes and of course the Flame Bistro has the best potato wedges, curries, wines and friendly efficient service. Riding a Sedway through the forest is great fun and the Canopy Tour ziplines has breathtaking views and is a thrilling experience!

    We were very impressed with the accomodation ito the space, well furnished kitchen with all required appliances, numerous games for bad weather days or evenings and comfortable beds. The provision of solar back-up was a great advantage. Good Wi-fi with further performance upgrades from fiber shortly to be introduced.

    The black water tubing must be on every adventurers buket list. I have no words to describe. its just to amazing. Just must do. Loved the inn restaurant and the 60's restaurant. awsome place and every body in town is helpful and friendly.

    The Tsitsikamma canopy zipline tour was great and we had a good Pizza and chicken salad at Tsitrus Cafe. Wanted to do the blackwater tubing, but there were not enough people. The visit to the Stormsriver mouth is a must with lots of activities for all and a nice reastuarant . We went over the suspension bridge and then saw there was a view site further up (no further detail). What a challenging climb/walk to the top, but the reward was worth it, a breathtaking view. The pic included is from the view point.

    A lot of fun visiting the village.

    A lot of fun visiting the village. A variety of activities are available. We did the segway tour and the canopy tour. The guides were exceptional and friendly. We enjoyed the tsitrus café with pizza and wine as well as Marilyn's 60's diner. We enjoyed stopping at stormsriver, getting a takeaway latté at Mugg and Bean and looking at the bridge from the lookout. We were fascinated by the Big tree as well. If you go to the canopy tours, they give you a 15% discount voucher for two resturants. There were a lot of activities including black river tubing, e-biking, renting bikes, woodcutters tour etc. Some activities you can get cheaper at the desk than online.

    Everything was absolutely perfect, did not have 1 issue at all! Accommodation was flawless, staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast included was delicious. Just an overall perfect stay 😀 will 100% recommend this to anyone staying in tsitsikamma. And I'd definitely stay there again

    Within walking distance of the village where all the attractions were. Plenty of restaurants to suit all tastes and activities galore. The loft had everything you could need and Kathy was the perfect host. It was quiet and the deck was superb.

    Breakfast is great. Location is perfect for local attractions: Tsitsikamma National Park, Big Tree, and so on. The hotel does not offer dinner, but there are a good choice of restaurants in the immediate area that do.
