The surrounding area, especially the Magoebaskloof, is beautiful and has exceptional nature. There are also good restaurants and coffee shops in Haenertsburg and in the Kloof. But it is not worth visiting the town, Tzaneen itself. Lots of accommodation is available. Beautiful hiking trails. It is a place to relax in nature and to get some rest for your soul. We enjoyed going to the Lion and Predator Park at Letaba River Resort. Loved the travel experience from Polokwane to Tzaneen via Magoebaskloof. Beautiful sceneries and breathtaking views. Mountainous views spectacular in the morning and the CBD easy to navigate.
