Tracing the Pyan River south from Khorog, the Wakhan Corridor is sprinkled with picturesque villages, ancient shrines and crumbling castle ruins. The corridor runs right up to the border so it’s possible to cross into Afghanistan and explore the Wakhan from the other side. English and russian speaking,very kind and very helpful staff. Accompanied us also to OVIR to help with the obligatory registration. Room was very nice, new and clean. Excelent location close to airport. 24h reception, we had no problem to check-in at 3 a.m.
