We had a wonderful stay at the Novotel RJ Santos hotel. Without exception all of the staff made us feel very welcome. We don’t speak Portuguese but everyone made a great effort to either speak English to us or to understand what we wanted. We had breakfast and our evening meals at the hotel every day and both were exceptional. The food was delicious and great value for money. Our room was spotlessly clean. If we go to Rio de Janeiro again we will definitely choose to stay at this hotel.

Ideally located right next to Copacabana Beach, this modern hotel offers a rooftop pool. Gym, sauna and a fine restaurant are its highlights. Free WiFi access is provided throughout.

First of all, the staff themselves deserve a separate mention - especially Carlinhos and Samara working in the breakfast area (sorry if I heard the name incorrectly), Alice responsible for quality (we had a very pleasant conversation), and Thiago working at the reception. I won't repeat myself, but the location of the hotel, the comfort of the rooms, the views from the window, quality assurance, breakfast, and customer care are worth mentioning. The rooftop pool and bar, with always cheerful and friendly staff, also puts you in a good mood. The best memories. We would love to come back.
