The people working there deserve a raise. They were exceptional. I've travelled all over the world and usually am not inclined to stay at a chain Hotel as I don't find the friendliest of staff. We have stayed in Novotel before in Europe & have found them to be good value but nothing above ordinary. This Novotel in Montreal was exceptional. Very welcoming staff and nicely furnished & decorated reception area. The rooms were spacious, clean & comfortable. The location was perfect as it was close to the P.E Trudeau airport.

We often have booked Ritz Carlton before, but this was an outstanding experience. We had never such a pleasant stay. Everybody in the Hotel was extremely friendly and we got a lot of help due to special situation. Reception was extremely helpful and extraordinary friendly, Restaurant same and food was also awesome, breakfast as well as dinner. Fantastic stay over my birthday!!!!! Many thanks!!!

Hotel Gault's staff were great, helpful, and courteous (especially Brian and Noks). We came earlier than the usual check-in time, so my husband and I roamed the area, which is very close to Old Montreal attractions. The hotel has a luggage storage area, so we are not worried about our luggage while waiting for our room to be ready. When we came back, we were told that our room had been upgraded to a nicer one, which made our stay in this hotel much special. Pillows are so huggable. We had a very nice and relaxing sleep. Breakfast was really good. We had our breakfast delivered to the room as we wanted to relax and watch TV while having our meal. Cleanliness: The room is really clean, the towels are new, and the toiletries are good, but they need to pay more attention to maintaining and deep cleaning the toilet bowl and bathroom, as they are very close to getting a bad review.
