Such a wonderful hotel. Gorgeous rooms, delicious food, and the owner (Simon) was so friendly and kindly helped my husband and I set up our ski touring equipment in his downstairs workshop and even gave us tips on ski touring because he is an incredible athlete! We so appreciated all the attention to detail at his fabulous hotel - highly recommend.

The staff always made me feel welcome and appreciated, very personable and lots of attention to detail. Special thanks to Alex ant the front desk and Roman at the Spa for their kindness. The spa is wonderful and included with great sauna and steam and a very good size panoramic pool. The feel of the hotel is elegant and classic. Wonderful piano music with dinner. Incredible breakfast with wonderful staff.

Nice quiet location but not too far from centre and right at the bus stop that takes you into town. Beautiful hikes on your doorstep, and Eiger views. A feel of nature with a goat farm in front. Excellent dining and friendly staff.

We absolutely loved our stay. The whole place was magical, in a quiet but beautiful area with enough to do nearby. Everything was super clean, the kitchen was filled with all equipments, beautiful and cozy living room. Sue & Petra were also very kind, fast communicators and able to help anytime. Everything was fantastic. Proximity to train station. Fantastic view of lake Thunersee from the restaurant where I sat for hours. Special care for me was taken for breakfast because I’m a strict vegetarian and I loved it. It’s a family hotel/theatre run professionally and with love. Amazing suggestions were given to me for my daily tours. The room and the bathroom was clean. The encanto stuffed toys did scare me a lil bit but it was fine after 2 days plus it was a cute theme. The rooms didn’t have numbers. They had a theme based probably on movies. Hot water kettle was in the room with tea/coffee. Special thank you to the family and the staff for everything. They were generous enough to let me stay on their restaurant terrace until the last hour. God bless.
