Chateau Rhianfa is an absolute gem of a hotel. It's perched over the Menai Straight with stunning views of the Snowdonia Mountains. There were several sumptuous yet comfortable lounges to enjoy. Our room was very large and beautifully decorated. The bed was big and comfortable with very nice linens. We had a shower instead of a bath, but it was a nice one with high quality toiletries and big fluffy towels. The staff was delightful and attentive. We had dinner at the chateau, and while the dining room was rather cold the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious. We're by nature very casual people, but even though we were staying in a fairy tale castle we felt comfortable and very welcomed. We'd love to come back sometime for a longer stay so we can explore the area a bit more. We'd also love to see the gardens during the summer; the place must be spectacular then.

A very comfortable room with a lovely view over the strait. Friendly staff who suggested an easy route to visit the pier and recommended a local taxi service when we checked out. The property was convenient to coastal walks and stunning hilltop views
