The Rooms at the Apple Pie was perfectly located in the centre of Ambleside, an easy walk to all of the shops. Our room was an attic room - the ceiling definitely is a bit low for someone who is tall, but it was a great size and very comfortable, we had a great sleep. There was an honesty bar system for cokes and crisps among other things, but we had both breakfast and lunch (and an apple pie) from the delicious bakery and cafe next door. Highly recommend.

The staff was awesome! Magnificent views and beautiful location! It was a very nice room, though a bit warm, but we could open the window. The breakfast and diner served in the bar and conservatory were delicious.

Beautiful property with fantastic views of the mountains. The hotel was full of special touches such as the stained glass window in the bar. both hosts were welcoming and attentive.
