A lovely, idyllic and tranquil place, a real hidden gem! We usually stay in hotels, but this B&B could be ranked between the 5 stars! Sitting on our balcony overlooking the gardens gave us the feeling of being home away from home. Our hostess made us feel so welcome, a lovely lady! My wife forgot her favourite raincoat and the lady shipped it over for us to Holland. Service with a smile from an unforgettable place!

The room configuration that was promised on Booking.com wasn’t available but the hotel staff promptly remedied it with another solution. Beautifully handled. Also the staff recommended a wonderful Pub for dinner that involved a stunning walk through the village and across the lock. Excellent local suggestion that made our stay.

The hotel is in a great location, the staff is great and very helpfull. The rooms were a good size,the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice,the shower was great. Overall a great place to stay.

The staff allowed us early check in with our 9mo. They availed a cot for her to sleep in and the room had sufficient space to accommodate this. The room was accessible with our baby’s pram and it fit in the room with all our luggage and the cot. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Next to the station and a stones throw from town central.
