the property itself is gorgeous, and our room had a clear view of the fort. the rooms are very clean and beautiful and the service is exceptional - from the waiters to the reception, to the drivers and tour guide arranged by the hotel. we had a wonderful stay and were sad to leave. will definitely stay here again!

Both the hotel and the service were fantastic. This was by far our best hotel experience, this hotel is in a category of its own. The temperature of the house was very pleasant although it was very hot outside. We didn’t even have to use the AC. The food and breakfast was perfect! Service incredibly caring and friendly. Staff was most helpful all the time. The location is easy to find for Rikhaw and taxi. So it’s quite easy to move from there and to be picked up for any trips as parking facility is right in front of the property. We felt very safe! Nice was also that the birds in the Ashokatrees were fed daily by the owner. So we had a beautiful soundtrack of birds singing outside all the time. Apart from that the heavy old walls keep the sounds outside.
